PeterRYANof 551 Blackburn Road, Accrington, died peacefully on 15th July 2019 aged 90. Peter worked for most of his working life as an Upholsterer at Slaters of Great Harwood. He enjoyed many hobbies, including Hurling, Football and Snooker but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his Guinness and an occasional tot of Jameson Whiskey. Husband of the late Anastasia Ryan, he was also a loving dad to daughter Marion Riding and sons David and Eamonn Ryan and a much loved granddad. A Requiem Mass will be taken by Fr. Stamp on Friday 26th July at St Mary's RC Church, Oswaldtwistle at 10.45 a.m. followed by Cremation at Accrington Crematorium at 12.20 p.m. Flowers or donations in memory of Peter to the Alzheimer's Society c/o Hyndburn Funeral & Monumental Services, Queens Road, Accrington, BB5 6AR.
