It is with great sorrow and sadness that I have to announce the death of my dearly beloved wife Jill, who sadly passed away in the Royal Liverpool Hospital, aged 76, on Monday 12 August following a long illness.
Devoted and loving mother to Jenni and Sue.
Funeral to be held at Anfield Crematorium on Friday 23 August 2024 at 3:20 pm.
Casual, bright clothing preferred. Gentlemen, please wear a coloured tie if possible rather than black.
Immediate family flowers only please.
Jill will be in the chapel of rest at the Coop Funeral Service Sefton House, 39 Almonds Green, West Derby, Liverpool, L12 5HP, from Monday 19 August. Please call 0151 226 4433 to arrange a time to visit.
Rest in Peace Jill now you are finally pain free.

My big sis Jill, so much part of my life for going on 60 years. Wonderful, loving wife to my big bro, caring mother to my nieces Jeni and Sue. I have so many memories of Jill that I will hold dear forever. Rest in peace.

I met Gill when we were both 5 and we just clicked , we played out nearly every day with the boys in the street playing catch a girl kiss a girl.
We stayed friends all our life but because I moved to Isle of Man we didn’t see each other a lot.
We kept in touch via phone and latterly her daughters started talking to me on face book.
I just wish I could be there to say goodbye to my oldest friend but sadly I can’t.
Tears are coming easy now whenever I think of our fun times - too many to mention here.
