Fr PeterRYANFr Ryan passed away peacefully, on 13th March 2025, after a short illness.

A Beloved Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Great-Uncle and a Cherished Friend to Anne and Adopted member of her family.

Fr Ryan was a Much-Loved Parish Priest of South Bank and Egton Bridge Parishes.

Reception into St Mary's Cathedral, Coulby Newham will take place on Monday 7th April at 7.00pm, ahead of a Requiem Mass on Tuesday 8th April at 12 Noon. Fr will then be laid to rest at Eston Cemetery. Friends please meet at the Cathedral.

One of the finest souls to walk this earth. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him and especially the community of Southbank, Normanby and Eston. Rest in peace Peter, you will always be remembered in our hearts, minds and prayers. Thank you for your outstanding sermons. You had a wonderful talent for making them real, relevant and personal to all who had the privilege to listen to them. You made the world a better place and touched everybody's heart. Thank you for your friendship and songs over the years. Most of all thank you for simply for being you.
