SAIK-BOYCE SONIAIt is with great sadness that we announce that my beloved wife Sonia, devoted mother to Natasha and sister to Lida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 11th September aged 54. Sonia's strength, courage and determination were an inspiration to her family and many friends. Sonia's passing has left an irreplaceable hole in all our lives and she will never be forgotten. Sonia is now at peace and it is her wish that we celebrate her life in bright clothes with a mass at St Barnabas Cathedral, Derby Road, Nottingham NG1 5AE at 1pm on Wednesday 25th September and a natural burial at Tithe Green Burial Ground, Salterford Lane, Calverton, NG14 6NZ. The burial will be followed by a celebration of her life at the Ukrainian Social Club, Clawson Lodge, 403 Mansfield Road, Nottingham NG5 2DP. Coaches will be available and will leave the Ukrainian Club at 12.30pm to the Cathedral and from the Cathedral to Tithe Green. The coaches will then return everyone back to the Ukrainian Club. Sonia has requested flowers from the family and donations to MacMillan Cancer research, Marie Curie or the Cats Protection League.
