6years ago today, a golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, it broke my heart to see you go, they say that memories are golden well maybe that is true, but we never wanted memories we only wanted you, your life was love, your love for us, you always did your best for all of us, we will always remember you, we sat by your bed side, our hearts were crushed, we did our duty till the end till we could do no more, in tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away & though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. Our lips can’t speak how much we loved you and still love you, our hearts can’t tell what to say but god only knows how much we miss you, in our home that is lonely without you. Everyday I miss you and it still hurts like the day you gained your wings, my heart has been broken since the day you went away and it will never be the same again, the memories I treasure dearly are in the tears that still flow, you’re in my thoughts everyday an that’s how it will always be, you may be up in heaven but I know you’ll always be with me, you were one in a million grandad & I’m proud to have had such a special grandad like you, you meant so much to me more than you’ll ever know, Treasured in my heart you’ll stay, Until we meet again, keep shining bright in the night sky my beautiful angel, I love & miss you more than words can describe nothing is same since you gained your wings 🤍
