GeorgeSALMONThe family sadly announces that George, aged 79 years of Silverdale, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 1st November 2023 surrounded by his family.
For 37 years he was the dearly-loved husband of the late Barbara. He was the loving dad of Christopher and John, father-in-law to Catherine and Vicky, treasured grandad of the two Toms and beloved brother of Gillian; more recently he has become the much-loved soulmate of Barbara and cherished Papa to Joseph.
George will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends.
Service to take place on Wednesday 29th November at St Luke's Church, Silverdale at 12.30pm followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Will relatives please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at the Church.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of George to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
