YawSAM-ADDAEWith broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our dearest father, Yaw Sam-Addae, "Sam", on 12th October 2026, aged 74 years.

A much-loved husband of the late Kathryn and treasured father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, he was our protector and confidant.

His kindness and humour brought light to our lives, and the memories we hold will be cherished for as long as we live.

Sam remained strong, facing every challenge until the end, and passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Please join us in celebrating Sam's life at Moldgreen United Reformed Church 319 Wakefield Road, HD5 8AA on 20th November at 11 am.

Donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received for Pancreatic Cancer UK and Kirkwood Hospice.

Further details, including information about the wake will follow.
