JohnSANDIFORDMr John ‘Jack’ Francis Sandiford, of Hameldon Road, Loveclough, died peacefully at Hillview Nursing Home, on Thursday, July 1, aged 87. Jack was a lifelong employee at J B Broadley, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, becoming foreman. He enjoyed many holidays in Benidorm with Christine. He was also a life member of Loveclough Social Club (Top Club). Husband of the late Christine, he leaves daughter Sheila and son-in-law John, grandchildren Claire and Carl, Lee and Sascha, great-grandchildren Logan, Leah and Harvey, brother Peter, sisters-inlaw, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 15, at 10.30am at St James the Less, Rawtenstall, led by Father McBride. Family flowers only please; donations if desired to Rossendale Hospice.
