Michael HenrySARGESONPassed away at home peacefully on Thursday 7th April aged 85. He was a loving partner to Sandie, much loved Dad to Steven, Sara and to the late Angela also step dad to Tracy. A very cherished Grandad and Great-grandad to many. Born in Accrington, Mick attended Peel Park Primary School and Clitheroe Grammar High School before taking an apprenticeship in engineering. At the age of 21, he joined the Coldstream Guards for his national service where he guarded Buckingham Palace. He then went on to work building oil rigs which he did for many years across the world in countries like America and Norway. He enjoyed going to the pub with his friends, especially his oldest friend Dave and going on family holidays abroad.
