PatrickSARSFIELDPat (Patrick) Sarsfield, 83, of Calgary, peacefully passed away on Jan 4, 2023. Pat was born on November 26, 1939 to Thomas Patrick Sarsfield and Gwendoline Rose Ferraby in Scunthorpe, England. He worked as an apprentice draftsman before Pat advanced to create his own company Mec-Han. He moved to Canada due to the changing economic climate of the time and worked in Calgary and Ft. McMurray, progressing from a designer to an Engineering Project Manager. Pat enjoyed fencing, skiing, snooker/pool, love of history, learning/studying, reading, and visiting with family. He also had a knack for reading every plaque in every museum he visited. Pat was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gwendoline, son James Edward (infant) and first wife Mary. He is survived by his second wife Catherine and six children; Richard (Leanne), Rebecca (Loran), Patrick, Catherine (Nick), James, and Joe; six grandchildren Hannah, James, Fintan, Thomas, Alex, and Meagan; and two great-grandchildren Ava, and Ted. Pat would often end all conversations with "On that Note". So, on that note, Pat will be woefully missed and may he rest in peace.
