AlanSAYLESBeloved and loving husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully at Farleigh Hospice on 18th November 2018, aged 85 years. Funeral Service at Writtle United Reformed Church, The Green, Writtle CM1 3ET on Wednesday 19th December at 11.30am. Family flowers only but donations to Farleigh Hospice or the Church would be appreciated and may be sent to T Pennack & Sons, Funeral Directors.

I have just heard the sad news of the passing of Alan. I remember him well when living in Millfields, Writtle. Alan played an integral part in the community, especially as a leader at the URC. I'm sure that he will be sorely missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
