Very sadly passed away on Thursday 4th April 2024, aged 81 years.

Cherished wife of the late Arthur. Darling Mam of Beverley and Paula and Sons in law Phil and Richard. Adored Nana to Daniel and Katie and Great-Nana to Blake and Layla. Much loved Sister to Jack, Brian, Chris and Vivienne, Sister-in-law, Aunty and a dear friend to Anne and to many. She was our sunshine, was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her. Service at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 26th April at 10.30am and afterwards at Benwell Hill Cricket Club. Family flowers only please but donations if desired can be made to the Friends of Hadrian School Charity.

On behalf of my dearly loved mam and all of her family I would like to thank you all for the kind tributes and donations left in her memory.

Mam was laid to rest yesterday and we were joined by a fine representation of her family, friends, neighbours and many more whose lives she touched while she was here. Her wonderful meaningful life was reflected and the love shown for her was overwhelming.

The very kind donations given on this site and also at her service are most appreciated

The money raised will be given to her great grandson, Blake’s school who are aiming towards putting in place a hydro pool. I am sure Blake and many other children with special needs will feel the benefit for years to come of your kindness. God bless the children.
