ThomasSCHWERTNEROn 30th January 2023, unexpectedly at home in Huddersfield, Thomas aged 57 years. Devoted husband of Susanna, much loved by all the family. He was uncle Tommy, a friend and brother. A service to celebrate Thomas' life will be held at St Paul Methodist Church on Tuesday 14th March at 2.00pm, followed by burial in Hey Lane Cemetery at 3.00pm. No flowers by request please, donations may be made if so desired towards a headstone for Thomas, a plate will be available after the service.

Dear Tom... Many years since we met as I joined your family through marriage to Susanna's sister. You were always so welcoming and positive and your advice to paint my commercial building with acrylic paint rather than gloss... "It'll last you 20 years", you said... turned out right Tom! 23 years later, we are about to repaint hundreds of windows that you painted in 2000.... wish you were the one doing it!
