Together again

Sometimes when we first awake we think that you are both still here and for a fleeting moment the clouds all disappear, for you both brought endless sunshine until you went away, and now we miss you desperately each minute of the day. You would not like to see us sad, so what we try to do is live bright and happy lives in memory of you, for though we always miss you both and it's dreadful being apart, we haven't really lost you you are both still in our hearts.

Today is a sad day Mam for it is the day you left us. Dad never recovered from losing you, but we tried hard to keep him going and you would have been so proud of how he coped. Now he has left us too but we know his sorrow and sadness has turned to happiness because you are reunited. We miss you so much Mam and there isn't a day goes by that we don't think of you. We love you so much and always will and we have so many memories to keep us going and we thankyou so much for those. Until we meet again.
