PhilipSCOTTPhilip always put his family first, working tirelessly to support them and bring joy to their lives. Even in the face of challenges, Philip's strength shone through as he battled on with a smile, uplifting everyone around him. His warmth, resilience, and unwavering positivity have made him not only a pillar of his family but a cherished friend and inspiration to all who know him.

Philip peacefully passed away on 23rd October 2024.

Philip was a devoted Husband to Shirley, his beloved Wife of 37 years, and a cherished Father to his Son Thomas and Daughter Abbey.

He took immense pride in his family, especially his Grandson Albie, who brought so much joy into his life. Philip was also a supportive Father-in-law to James, whom he welcomed into the family with open arms. He was looking forward to welcoming Drew, as Tom's Wife next year.

Philip is lovingly remembered by his two Sisters, Ann and Mary, and his Brother Joe.

He was deeply loved by his extended family of Brothers & Sisters-in-law, who cherished his kindness, strength, and unwavering positivity, with whom he shared countless cherished memories and bonds.

Philip's kindness, humour, and unwavering love for his family and friend left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love and warmth he brought to those around him.

A funeral service to honour Philip's life will be held on Friday 8th November at 9:30 am at the Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium, followed by a wake at Allerton Manor Golf Club.

All proceeds will help provide the same support and comfort to others that Philip received at the Marie Curie Well-being Centre that he attended on a weekly basis. Cheques made payable to MarieCurie Cherished Memory Fund or

We will always remember Phil as the friendly neighbour who loved watching his grandson play and enjoyed seeing the children play together in the street. He’ll be sadly missed and our thoughts and condolences are with Shirley and all the family. Rest in peace xx
