The obituary notice of Eric SCOTT

Hi Dad. I had written this eulogy to say at your wake, gathered by family and friends. I really wanted to read it out. I tried twice reading it in the morning, and both times I was too upset and couldn’t get my words out. Everything in your eulogy, you already know, and I know you will understand that I couldn’t read it out cos I’m a big softie. Other people wanted me to read it, but they already know these words below. They all know you were a kind man, a great dad and great husband to mam.

Dad, 24 days since you left us. Heartbreaking doesn't come close. Despite neither of us being perfect, you were an amazing dad and friend to me 🧡 . Your qualities are too many to list but my favourite ones were your love, support, loyalty, humour, kindness, your ability to fix most things whether it was a physical, emotional or financial one. Life will never be as good without in it. Sleep well, you earned the rest, watch over us and be proud of the legacy you left behind and the family you helped create and guide. Love you always and forever, Manyana 😉xxx

Ahh Bumpy. You are so so missed. Not a day goes by when I don’t think of you or what 6x7 is haha. I hope you and uncle les are sharing a pint and your arm doesn’t hurt from throwing sticks for Bruno. Verity sleeps with your Blanket every night and we say goodbye to the stars knowing you’re up there looking after us. Love and miss you always. Your dollybirds xxx
