Tony was a fun and loving uncle to my children and a help to me as an artist, he would make all my picture frames for exhibitions. He helped Tom with alterations to our house and babysat the children whenever needed.
I was introduced to the music of Neil Young through Tony and I came to love Neil Young songs too, playing them at his nephews’ naming ceremony.

I remember how long it took Tony to get out the door whenever he left our house… Goodbye, bye now, okay I’ll see you, bye then, goodbye.

Goodbye, Tony, goodbye.

As a friend and collaborator, I spent over three decades on a journey with Tony. He was a great artist, and a phenomenal writer; a skilled observer with an uncanny knack for taking fleeting moments, imbuing them with stories, and weaving them across timelines. Gone away, always remembered.

I was a friend of Tony’s many years ago, in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
He was a kind, gentle and very intelligent person and I liked him immensely.
My condolences to his family and friends.
Rest in peace Tony x

I knew Tony through working with him on various art projects. I always looked forward to working with him. I remember his curiosity and warmth and his gentle laugh. He was a great artist and collaborator. He will be sorely missed.
