Where do I even begin to talk about this inspiration in my life. My Grandad, words cannot describe how much you meant to me, the family, and the friends that you merged yourself with. You were one of the most genuine, selfless, kind and caring individuals in my life, and it hurts my heart to know that you are no longer here with us. But I know that you'll always still be watching me and the rest of the family and that you'll always be in our hearts. I hope to make you proud and will continue to look out for the rest of the family. Now that you're in the paradise that they call Heaven and that you're once again reunited with Grandma after 17 years apart, makes me happy that you are back together once again. I love you Grandad and I hope that you are now at peace and rest easy with Grandma, Mum and your little Sooty.

What to say about such a true person, a perfect gentleman, comedian, gentle and kind soul. I’m thankful that you welcomed me into your life and shared stories of your life with me as a young man growing up and a specialty the stories of life during the war and fitting some of the first combine harvesters with engines but with no instructions. You had a love for roses and old fashioned plants. Music spoke to you, through out your life, at lest now you get to see Frank Sinatra up close and personal! You were always quick with a comeback, a joke, or flanter. You will be very deeply missed by me and of course your wonderful family, who carry your companion for people and life.
