The obituary notice of Anne SELBY

We were so sad to hear about Anne's passing. Such a brave lady, who fought a terrible illess, as best she could. I remember with fondness going to firstly antenatal classes and then Hanchurch playgroup with Anne and our little ones. In later years, we'd say hello as we bumped into each other at Trentham Gardens and she was alway pleased to see us. RIP Anne and love to Tony, Emily & family xx

Mrs Selby was a perfect teacher with her beaming smile lighting up the room. I was always very grateful of her kindness and support. It is such a sad loss.

You will be sadly missed you got me through high school as a friend but also a teacher you made me smile when I was sad we used to talk every day during the day and after school a big hole in life will surely be missed. RIP Anne xxx claire

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Mrs Selby was my favourite teacher and the things she taught me, outside of history, really changed my life. They're lessons I remember to this day.
