Clare LouiseSELWAYPassed away suddenly at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 10th June 2024, aged 55 years. Darling Daughter to Sally and the late Michael, and much loved by her partner Mark. Funeral to take place at St Mary's Church, Norton on Monday 8th July at 1pm, followed by burial. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Scoliosis Support and Research, Cancer Research UK or St Mary's Church, Norton may be sent c/o Goodwins Funeral Directors, 8 Old Cheltenham Road, Longlevens, Gloucester GL2 0AW

I have only just found out my dear old school friend Clare has passed. I am so, so sorry to hear this. Clare was a wonderful, warm hearted woman and a lovely, kind friend. I grew up with her in Norton from primary school onwards. We spent many nights out together as teenagers. Her Dad used to drive us to Cinderellas at the weekends, and we spent hours chatting with her lovely mum in their kitchen. Sending love to all her family and friends. Oh my goodness....what an awful shock!
I am so terribly sad and upset.
Clare became a lovely friend whilst I worked at Perry & Jordan.
We often reminisced about her Grandma and Grandad as I knew them at the Beachamps in Dymock, giving Clare a very old photo of Jack Smith, her Grandad, behind the bar!
What a terrible loss to you. Clare was such a beautiful girl with a heart of gold.
I'm truly devastated 😢
My very, sincere condolences 🙏
