Barry RonaldSEYMOURaged 91, peacefully passed away on Tuesday 7th February 2023 at Walsgrave Hospital following a short illness, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband to Doreen (deceased) having celebrated 62 years of marriage. Loving father to his four sons, John (deceased), Neil, Adrian, and Mark (deceased), and his two daughters-in-law Linda and Jayne. Loving grandad to Matthew, Daniel, Carly, Robert, Harvey and Zoe, and loving great grandad to Stephen, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Sophia, Vienna, Nevaeh, Beatrix, and Tyger. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and those who supported him in his later years. The funeral is to be held on Friday 24th March at 2pm at Walsgrave Baptist Church, Hinckley Road, Coventry, CV2 2EX, followed by a short service at Canley Crematorium, Coventry, CV4 7DF, at 3pm. The family invite all mourners to join them at the Wake to be held at The Old Crown, 466 Alderman's Green Road, Alderman's Green, Coventry, CV2 1NP, from 4pm. Family flowers only but if desired, donations are welcome to Myton Hospice. We have loved visiting Barry over the last few years, from talking about his family, his work at Massey to being entertained by the people featured on afternoon tv. Always bought a smile to our faces. I don’t think he realised how entertaining he was. We will really miss you Barry, but we are lucky to have met you. Jane and Lauren x
