MargaretSHANAHANIt is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Margaret Shanahan (née Smith) on 4th July 2024, who passed away peacefully aged 92, at Nazareth House Care Home, after a long illness.
Reunited with her beloved Husband Bill, much loved Mother to Stephen, Tony, Peter, Robbie, Cathy and Jayne; Mother-in-Law to Cheryl, Debbie, Lynn, Gerry and Gav. Devoted Nan to Liam, Ciaran, Emily, Sean, Lauren, Alice, Hannah, Beth, Oliver, and Joseph.
Requiem Mass to be held at St. Peter & St. Pauls Crosby on Wednesday 24th July at 12:00pm followed by the committal at Thornton Crematorium at 1:30pm.
The family have respectfully requested family flowers only, however, donations online or on the day will gratefully be received on behalf of Nazareth House - Activity Fund where Margaret was so well cared for the last few years of her life. Family are forever grateful to the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff and cannot thank them enough.
