Alistair WilliamSHANNONPassed away suddenly but peacefully at The Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 18th February 2023, aged 67 years. Beloved husband of Julie. A treasured dad, grandad, great grandad, son in law, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Monday 20th March 2023 at 4.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for The British Heart Foundation. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service. RIP Alistair. You made a massive difference at Noel Baker and I always enjoyed our discussions around campus and your tales from your Army days. You were a decent, honest and kind man.

Alistair gave many years service, in different guises, at Noel-Baker. He and I disagreed on the most important things (football and politics) but we worked well together and became friends. He taught me that you can understand others by being open, fair and honest. And... He used to make me laugh.
