MarySHARPEMary Sharpe 1943 to 2021 Mary Sharpe, born Mary O'Hanlon a resident of Hulland Ward for 50 years and previously the colliery village of Black Hall Rocks, passed away peacefully to join her husband Peter on the 15th of December. Despite the dementia, there was always a little of Mary left, right until the last few days, when every response was a smile and a laugh. Mary was town clerk of Wirksworth for many years, and in her spare time an active member of Ashbourne Churches Together. Thank you mum for your love, questioning mind, occasionally painful honesty and rebellious spirit. These are the things you will be remembered for. I hope heaven is ready for you. The funeral will be held at Markeaton Crematorium at 2pm on January the 11th and a wake will be held at The Nags Head, Hulland Ward from around 3:15pm.
