Shirley, we cant believe you're gone, though you were 88 years, we couldn't say you were 88 years 'old' as you were so young at heart.
We will all miss you so much, it was a pleasure to have you in our lives, you were the highlight of our bingo evenings, chippy days, lane parties and truly one of the best hosts, you enjoyed catering for everyone and what a superb cook you were too.
We will miss seeing you walk up the lane with your lovely dogs stopping for a chat, coffee and a real good laugh whilst putting the world to rights.
The world has lost a kind and beautiful soul, but the heavens have gained an angel, you will forever be in our fondest of memories and we shall always talk about you with a smile on our faces and tear in our eye.
I feel honoured not only to have called you our friend but to care for you in your final days of life, thank you for being so inclusive and a woman who held no prejudices against anyone, bringing complete kindness and a sense of home to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you.
When I held your hand and gave you a hug the last time I left you, I was glad I got that one last opportunity to comfort you, the same way you brought a sense of comfort to your friends, family and all that were lucky to know you.
RIP our dear Shirl.
Always in our hearts, never forgotten.
Lots of Love, Jade, Sarah, Joey, Jorge, Jake, Joel and the crazy Willow Roaders ❤️ xxxxxx ❤️
