Franziska (Frances)SHAWFollowing the recent death of my beloved wife Franziska Shaw, I would like to thank all those many people who helped and supported us during her long illness: Doctor Nortcliff and the staff at the Willow Tree Centre; the girls from Premier Care and most particularly the District Nurses from Broughton Health Centre, whose loving, sympathetic attention helped us both in her final days. My grateful thanks also to Father David Macfarlane who supported us both spiritually, and following Frances' death conducted such an inspiring service. My thanks to friends and neighbours; to our friends and colleagues from St Sebastian's and St Boniface's communities; to Charlie and Michelle at Littlers Funeral Services, to Gerry Stone and staff at St Sebastian's Centre and all those who expressed sympathy with cards and Mass offerings. The ashes of my dear wife were taken to Germany where, following Requiem Mass, they were laid to rest in the family grave.
