RoySHAWSHAW Roy, passed peacefully away at Barons Park Nursing Home on June 3rd, 2008, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Freda, loving dad, grandad and great grandad. Funeral service at St Peters Church, Glenfield on Thursday, June 12th at 1pm followed by interment at Blaby Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to 'Alzheimers Society' may be sent c/o R.C. Weston & Son Independent Family Funeral Directors, 5 Saffron Road South, Wigston, LE18 4TF. Telephone 2783381.

Hello, my name is Bethan and I used to help care for Roy at Barons Park. I am writing on here as I am trying to get in contact with his daughter Judith. Please if anyone knows any contact information could you please email me at ntydbra@nottingham.??ac.uk.


I promised Judith that I would contact her once I had completed my nursing training, and in December I will qualify as a mental health nurse. I would not of been able to have done this without the inspiration and encouragement from Judith. Thank you once again,
