So sad to discover that Fred had passed. I worked with him for many years at CES Monton and he was a great mentor to me as a young cocky engineer. I have only fond memories of a great guy and sportsman. RIP Fred

A popular and respected amateur cricketer and footballer. 1st XI captain of Monton CC 1983, ‘84 & ‘94. Great company in the bar afterwards! Will be sadly missed. RIP Fred.

So sorry to hear of the very sad passing of my very good friend Fred Shaw. Always great company be it on the cricket field, in the bar afterward or on amazing holiday to Rhodes together in 1986. R.I.P Fred, Ian.
