David MarshallSHAWDavid Marshall Shaw of Great Harwood, formerly of Rishton, died on March 30, aged 83 years.

David was a retired precision engineer at Allspeeds/Clayton-le-Moors.

He loved football, especially Blackburn Rovers, but he watched all teams.

He was a club man and enjoyed bowling and dominoes teams at Rishton Free Gardeners.

He loved competitions, winning the super six quite a few times (football predictions comp) over the football season and he also enjoyed going to the races.

He leaves his wife Annette, daughter Debra and the late Susan, grandchildren Gary, Jason, Leanne and Adam, great-grandchildren Jacob, Cora and Lydia, son of the late Christopher and Dorothy, brother of John and Betty and loved by Jason's wife Samantha.

A service will be held on Friday, April 24 at Accrington Crematorium at 12.20pm, conducted by Charlotte Green.

Family flowers only, donations to Prostate Cancer UK.

Sincere condolences to all the family. Dave was one of the best neighbours a person could have, he contributed to the happy memories I have of living in Rishton
