I am so glad that my parents chose Jane to be my Godmother . She was an important part of my childhood, always remembering my birthday with a thoughtful and often educational present. We all loved our family get togethers , especially trips to Whites Farm in Hampshire, where I remember Jane teaching me how to make the perfect cucumber sandwich.
My thoughts are with Helen and Bill as we say goodbye to Jane today
