Lisa MichelleSHEARWOOD-VINGOEIt is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my most precious partner Lisa Michelle Shearwood-Vingoe. She lived and loved her life with fun, smiles, happiness, and thought for others. She was the brightest light in the darkness.
Born in Fort Collins Colorado, USA to Dr F & Mrs G Vingoe she came to the UK in 1975. Lisa arrived in Liverpool to Study Psychology in 1986 and later gained a Masters Degree writing her thesis on one of her favourite Artists: The Life and Works of Jean- Michel Basquiat.
I met my beautiful partner during the summer of 1993 and we had our first date on 30th October 1993 and we were together since that date until her passing.
Lisa was a vibrant, warm, kind woman who cared deeply for others. This was reflected in her love for our children, whom she cherished dearly, and her work in the local community. Whatever Lisa undertook, she did so with such passion and dedication.
Lisa has left a space that no other can fill, but also a legacy that love and kindness is the true purpose of life.
Lisa passed away peacefully at Marie Curie Hospice with her devoted partner holding her hand, and her two closest friends by her side.
Her funeral will take place on Monday 30th October 10.30am at Ullet Road Unitarian Church followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium. Refreshments served following the cremation in the Unitarian Church Library.
Anyone wishing to attend is most welcome. Please wear something pink.
