I am so incredibly proud of you, not just for your amazing success but for your unwavering strength and positivity in the darkest of times. You loved life, the happiest person I will ever know; bright, energetic and witty with that gorgeous smile. Your strength and determination, sense of humour and immense kindness were never ending. Anything you did in life you were perfect at: cooking, gardening, your career, being a mother. I long to be with you, to hold your hand, back in the car singing Motown songs at the top of our voices and laughing. You were the heart of our little team: me, you and my Dad. Always making us feel so loved with your ability to make everything better. You were my strength, my protector, my role model and my best friend. The bond and love between us was the strongest and my world seems dark and empty without you in it. What a wonderful Mum you were and you were mine. Until the day I am back in your arms, goodnight.
