Marjorie JoanSHENTON (WYATT)Sad to announce the death of Marjorie Joan Shenton dearly beloved wife of the late Ernest Shenton has died peacefully in Teignmouth, Devon on 23 December 2022 aged 95. Mother to Nina and son in law Shaun Geraghty, sister to the late Sydney Harding Wyatt. Marjorie was born in Longton, owner of The Elizabeth Dress Shop, and lived for many years with Ernest at Caverswall Common where they hosted many Alvis Owner Club events. Marjorie moved to South Devon in 2018, where she lived happily with her daughter and son in law.

Marjorie, cheerful, always singing in her kitchen, walking so lightly. Marjorie and Ernest welcomed me and my family with arms open to Gandria 45 years ago. Very sad news to hear about the passing of Marjorie.
Cousin of the late John &Ethel Wood of Fulford (formally of Dresden).
Dad told us so much about Marjorie and Ernest and her time at Elizabeth's when he worked at Yoxall's Architects in the Strand.

So very sad to hear the news. As a close friend to Nina and Shaun, I have met and enjoyed Marjorie's company on many occasions. From Ninas' wedding to canal trips and celebrations, she was always happy and welcoming. Reunited with her beloved husband at last
