BarbaraSHEPHERDof Pendle Avenue, Bacup, died on Tuesday, October 22, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 86. Barbara worked in Shepherd and Markham Stationery Shop which was owned by her late husband. She was a member of the choir for many years at Christ Church, Bacup. Widow to Roger Shepherd who passed away in June 2014, she was mother to Sarah Gorton, grandmother to Rachel and mother-in-law to Michael. The family have many fond memories of Barbara and she will be missed very much! The funeral service took place on Wednesday, October 30, at Holy Trinity Church, Tunstead, officiated by the Revd Derek Allen, followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium.
