NigelSHEPHERDNigel (brother of Douglas), passed away in Australia on Sunday 30th October after a long illness, he was 83. He was a one time resident of Dechmont and Armadale, attended school at Bathgate Academy and was a popular centre half with Whitburn Juniors, before turning Senior with Airdrieonians FC. He emigrated to Australia in the early 60's where he went on to captain the National Soccer Team. Any messages to Douglas at 19 Rosemount Drive, Uphall, EH52 6DE.

My dearest brother, I will miss you forever. We were kindred spirits, both born on July 18th at 7:30am, one year apart. You were always there for me my big brother but the memories we shared will last a life time. R.I.P
