PeterSHERBURNEpassed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 24, aged 74 years. Peter started his working life as a colour draftsman at Shopfitters before moving onto Vine, Great Harwood, working in printing. Peter then took on a new venture and became a self employed artist, Peter thoroughly loved painting and created some fantastic portraits of dogs, with one of his paintings gifted to the Queen by Hyndburn Borough Council when she came to visit Accrington. Peter loved walking and watching his favourite wildlife programs - he was very much a homebird and loved to spend all of his time with his wife Valerie, they did everything together. Peter will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Beloved husband to Valerie, much-loved brother to David, a dear brother-in-law to Marilyn, loving uncle to Andrew and Warren, great uncle to Rebecca, Connor and Ben also a dear friend to many. Peter’s funeral will be held at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday, February 14. No flowers by request, however donations in memory of Peter are being gratefully received on behalf of Maoz Isreal c/o champfunerals.com/ obituaries.
