It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Shields have asked us to announce his passing.
A much-loved Son of Irene and Billy, and a beloved Brother to Billy, Darren, and Carl.
Forever loved partner to Mary and a devoted Dad to Carl and Ethan, Step dad to Megan.
A treasured Grandpa to Patrick and a very special Godfather to Heidi.
John will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all of his extended family, including Mary, Danny, David and Laura, and by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
John's final farewell journey will take place
Friday 11th September 2026, 1:15pm,
Church of the Good Shepherd, Lower House Lane, Liverpool L11 2SF,
followed by an interment at 2:30pm at West Derby Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please.
