SHIH KIENShih Kien, who died on 3 June, 2009, was a veteran actor of Cantonese martial arts movies in Hong Kong.His work dates back to the black and white wuxia era, and he often played a villain in classics of the time, such as 1964's Yu Lai Shan Jeung and 1965's Luk Ji Kam Mo.He is best known to Western audiences for playing the one-handed criminal mastermind Han in Bruce Lee's martial arts classic Enter the Dragon.Later in his acting career, he took on a comedic role with Jackie Chan in The Young Master. He also acted in dramatic roles in such non-wuxia films as Hong Kong 1941 (1984).He died of kidney failure at the age of 96. At the time of his death, Mr Kien was believed to be one of the oldest living successful actors in China.
