Nan

Thank you for being my nan a best friend and a partner in crime we shared some memorable moments together, fishing down the canal in the pouring rain silly potions made in your pantry buying 1p & 2p sweets from the shop on the corner. That time pip stole and swallowed a piece of bread off your kitchen side which you thought was me when i wanted a jam sandwich the times at the priory centre playing bingo or even a crafty cig. A few of many memories ill hold dearly in my heart your a nan in a million, ill never forget you! Try not to cause too much mischief up there whilst looking over us all. Until we meet again Love you always Tom Amy & Skye xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Pink wafers. Spice potions in the pantry. Digging a garden in an old white kitchen sink. Lavender. Purtle, not purple. Red stilettos. Long fur coat. False teeth. The most awful tea ever made. Snapdragons. Cheeky cigs. Scotch eggs on the bench. A safe place where we could make a mess and never get in trouble. Batter bits from the chippy. Getting the bus into town. Good embroidery. Not so good knitting. Our elbows on your head. Guineapig hair.

You’ll be remembered in so many ways, and missed in so many more. Behave yourself Nan (I know you won't).

Lots of love, Zoe
