RitaSHORTRita passed away at home on 1st January 2023, aged 89 years. Devoted wife of Jimmy, loving mam of Denise and mother-in-law of Bryan, forever loved nanna of Jennifer and Mark, treasured great-nanna of Francesca and Penelope, also a dear sister of Doreen and the late Terry, Charlie, Raymond and Brian. Rita was also an adored aunt to her nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends please meet for Rita's funeral service on Tuesday 31st January at St Patrick's RC Church, Felling, 10:45am, followed by interment at Heworthburn Cemetery at 11:30am. Family flowers only please, donations will be taken on the day with proceeds being divided between The Stroke Association and Kidney Research.
