HazelSHORTRIDGEDied 19th July 2024 after a short illness, aged 94.

Devoted wife of the late John, Much loved Mum of Helen and Sarah and Mother-in-law to Ken and Peter. Adored Grandma to Douglas & Simon and Great Grandma of Logan. Cherished Sister of Rayner and Sister-in-law of Wendy, Joan, the late Bill and the late Jose.

Funeral service to be held at All Saints Church, Bedworth on Wednesday 14th August 2024 at 12 noon followed by interment at Marston Lane Cemetery. At the family's request, please wear a splash of colour.

Family flowers only please Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, payable to Warwickshire Vision Support in memory of Hazel which can be made via J E Hackett and Sons website (make a donation) or by post to J.E.Hackett and Sons Ltd 93 Leicester Road, Bedworth CV12 8AH. Tel: 024 76 313 326.

My condolences to Helen, Sarah and family. Such sad news to hear of Hazels passing. I have known your mum for approximately 50 years. Hazel was always a good friend, she always gave her opinion, a happy lady and good for a laugh. I will always treasure her loyalty for keeping in touch in the last twenty five years since I moved away. I appreciated her letters and telephone conversations. Hazel will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, lots of happy memories shared. Thank you Hazel for our friendship, I will miss you dearly. Love to you all Helen, Sarah and family.
