KathleenSIBBERINGMiss Kathleen Sibbering, of Primrose Street, Accrington, died on Saturday, July 11, aged 78. Kathleen worked at Lucas Rists Wires and Cables for many years and was an active union rep until she later retired from ill health. She loved to potter about in her garden, where she spent many happy hours. Many years ago she used to enjoy bingo. She enjoyed days out with her two sisters Mary and Maggie, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren John and Ethan, and her great-grandchildren Lilly, Ellea and Daisy. Mother of Julie and the late Carl Andrew, she was sister to Mary and Maggie, and a much loved grandma, great-grandma and auntie. The burial service was held at Accrington Cemetery on Friday, July 24, at 11.30am, led by Fr Stamp. Donations welcome to the British Heart Foundation c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
