James HowardSIMPSONOn 20th July 2024 Peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and of Outlane, following a short illness borne with great courage James aged 64 years. Dearly loved dad of Richard and Susanne, a loved and respected father-in-law of Sally and Andy. A proud and loving grandad of Ella, James, Esme and Lyla, a very dear brother of Sheryl. brother in law of Paul and Gary, also a dear uncle of Stephen.

A Service of Celebration for James life will take place at St Mary Magdalene's Church, New Hey Road Outlane on Friday 9th August at 11.00am, followed by burial at Pole Moor Graveyard, Pole Gate Scammonden.

Family flowers only please by request, donations if desired may be given for The Dog's Trust, for which a donation plate will be placed at the Service for this purpose.

Scrog, What such fun times we all had as kids at Quarmby Fold especially bonfire night - more so sat waiting for the flames to die down and mischief night.... Rest easy fella.
