Rich, you were an incredible person and the number of people who turned up to celebrate your life yesterday is a testament to that. I hope you know how much of a difference you made to so many people.

Thank you for welcoming me into your family and for being a lovely uncle to Flora. You will be a shining example to her (as you already have been to many others) of the importance of kindness, dedication to helping people and selflessness.

You're back with your mum now, and you can tell her all about her little grandaughter. We will make sure that neither of you will ever be forgotten by her.

Thank you for being the best big brother I ever could have asked for.

I have spent every day of my life looking up to you, always trying to be just like you.

I am so proud to be able to call you my brother. Putting everybody else before yourself and giving so much to this world.

I promise I'll make sure Flora grows up knowing how selfless, thoughtful and amazing her Uncle Rich was, and how much you loved her.

You were the best of us and even though you're not here anymore, I won't stop looking up to you.
