George CharlesSLASSORGeorge Slassor, Gosforth Passed away peacefully in Darlington Memorial Hospital on Monday the 12th of August 2024 aged 73 years.
George, much loved Dad to David & Mark, a caring Father-in-law to Donna, a treasured Grandad to Amy and Molly and beloved brother to Sondré, Tom, Delia, Denise, Richard & Clifford. A prized Uncle to Steven, Kirsty, Emma, Sarah, Michael, Victoria Mathew & Lucy.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, including many dogs from his village of Reeth who he would always share treats with.
Funeral service to take place West Road Crematorium Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 22nd August at 2:00pm.
Immediate Family flowers only (as George would "prefer to feed dogs than have flowers"). Donations in lieu if desired to the Dogs Trust Darlington Rehoming Centre. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.
All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Northern Football / Rugby Club (McCracken Park, Great N Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 2DT)
