JuneSLATTERSLATTER - JUNE, October 22, 2017. 77, of Llandecwyn and Llan Ffestiniog, She passed away after a sudden infection but had suffered with dementia for some years. She is survived by her husband Mike, her 3 daughters Catherine, Lizzie and Mandy, and 7 grandchildren. June is remembered for her many achievements with Maes y Neaudd Hotel, which gained her an MBE that she was so very proud to receive from the Queen, for Services to Tourism in Wales. She recently returned to Wales after 11 wonderful years in Ca?ar, Granada, Spain where she was loved so much. On Monday, the Spanish village bells rang in mourning for her. Her family and all will really miss her singing, dancing and love of a gathering. The service for her will be held at 12.30pm on Tuesday 31st October, at Llanfihangel Church in Ynys, later to be buried at Llan Ffestiniog, followed by a wake at the Oakley Arms around 4pm. The family would like to thank everyone for the messages of sympathy and support during her difficult years with dementia.
