George MoatSLATYFORDIts with Great sadness to announce the passing of Geordie. After a courageous fight with Cancer (The Boys). He was 65 years old. He was at home where he wished to be with his Wife and Daughter by his side. Geordie was and always will be the beloved Husband of Tracey and much loved and treasured Dad of Abbie. Dearly loved Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle to all the family. He was a great friend to so many people of all ages and never lost his sense of humour despite his physical suffering. He remained determined and positive right till the end, even joking with his family and medical team. He was an incredible man and will be missed by everyone who knew him. With this in mind friends and family are invited to celebrate his life. Cremation at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 5th April at 9.45 am.
Family flowers only there will be a collection at the service for Marie Curie and St Oswald's if so desired. All welcome back to Slatyford Tenants Club.
