John, died peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 9th September 2015, aged 92 years, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth, loving dad to Hazel and son-in-law Dave, treasured grandad to Mark, Nigel, Amanda and Nicola, also a doting great grandad to Ben, Sam, Rosie, Maisie and Lewis. Please meet for service at St. Peter's Church, Woodleigh Road, Monkseaton on Thursday 24th September at 11.00am, followed by a Committal Service at Whitley Bay Crematorium at 12.00noon. No flowers please. Donations if desired can be made at the service in aid of St. Oswald's Hospice. Family and friends are welcome afterwards at The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth.
