Sophia (Chris)SMALL(Highfield) Suddenly in hospital aged 78 on the 9th July 2022. Beloved wife of Vic, beloved mam of Mark and Andrew, Mother in law to Nichola and Emma, Beloved gran to Anthony, Carl, Jessica and the extended family. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. Chris will be sadly missed by all. Will friends please meet at Saltwell Crematorium Monday 25th July at 12.00 Noon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to QE Hospital Nurses Welfare Fund. Donation box will be provided at the crematorium. Refreshments afterwards to be announced at the service.

Just left my wonderful mother sleeping peacefully.
Tomorrow we will all send her to a wonderful place that truly deserves a lady like her.

Chris and I were married for 34 years and we had our ups and downs, much more ups than downs. We had some wonderful holidays especially the cruises. There is a huge hole in my life now. You are now with the angels and your god.

To my amazing Gran, you were always a ray of sunshine, I genuinely don't think I ever saw you angry once. Your humour was infectious and you were just as mad as me (Remember the nun putting her hip oot at Merryvale). Hope you're at peace. I know the Lord will be looking after you 😊 miss you Gran.
