JackieSMALLRIDGEMrs Jackie Smallridge, of Heightside Avenue, died at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 3, aged 79. She was a Headteacher at Brookhouse School, and loved church, family, gardening, and baking. Jackie was a member of the Monday Club at St Nicholas, and a member of the Labour Club. Wife of the late Brian, who died on February 3, 2021, she leaves children Joanna, Grant, Maureen, Luci, and Jon, grandchildren Conor, Lauren, Dean, Tasha, Shaun, and Isobel, and great-grandchildren Alfie, Annabette, Amalie, Willow, Arlo, and Carter. The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 22, at 12.30pm at St Nicholas Church, and then 1.45pm at Burnley Crematorium, led by Sue Davies. Family flowers only please; donations if desired can be made online at www.fredhamer. co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Service, Rawtenstall.
